E.ON in Sweden is part of the international energy group E.ON SE, headquartered in Essen, Germany. The group employs around 70,000 people in 17 countries. In Sweden, approximately 2,100 dedicated employees work. Our Nordic headquarters is located in Malmö. In Sweden, we deliver electricity, heat, and smart energy solutions to over one million households and businesses. E.ON's role is to take responsibility and drive development forward, enabling more people to transition. With our investments and our customers' willingness to contribute, we work to continue electrifying society and meet future energy needs.
Welcome to E.ON – and become part of the energy transition. In collaboration with our customers and partners, we ensure that electricity and heat are produced, used, and recycled smarter. If you have passion and believe in the power of working together, E.ON is the place for you.
About us Do you want to help create structure, direction, and sustainable collaborations in a business that is crucial for the energy transition? We are now looking for a business-driven Contract Manager for our Asset Management department within Regional Networks.
Within Asset Management, we are responsible for the management of E.ON's regional networks and stations, from planning and ordering to follow-up and long-term development. Our mission is to ensure that the facilities we build today operate safely, reliably, and cost-effectively for the next 50–60 years. We play a central role in the energy transition and work closely with colleagues in the Regional Network business, where sustainability, accessibility, and safety are as important as business acumen. Together, we set high ambitions, and we hope you want to contribute.
About the position We are now strengthening our department with a Contract Manager to meet the need for increased clarity in all our contractor agreements. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and following up on contracts related to the management of the regional network, focusing on contract compliance, risk minimization, and long-term sustainable collaborations. You will work both strategically and operationally, contributing to business clarity in a complex operation. You will be an important support to the group leaders within the department as well as to functions such as procurement and HSE, and you will play a central role in developing strategies for upcoming framework agreements and sustainable working methods.
Your daily work will be varied and involve responsibility for contracts throughout their lifecycle. You will follow up on contract compliance, analyze discrepancies between contracts and execution, and ensure that business, quality, safety, and costs are aligned. The role also involves close collaboration with contractors through dialogue, joint forums, and improvement work, as well as contributions to business development, onboarding, and follow-ups.
The position is based in Malmö and involves monthly travel within the operational area. The role reports to the Head of Asset Management and is part of the department's management team.
Your experiences We believe you thrive in a role where you can take responsibility, create structure, and build trusting relationships. You have a good ability to see the big picture, appreciate order and clarity, and are motivated to develop working methods that are sustainable over time. You are business-minded, curious, and collaborative, and you feel comfortable seeking help from technical specialists when needed to achieve the best possible results.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have a university degree in law, engineering, economics, or another relevant field, as well as several years of experience in contract and agreement management - preferably within infrastructure or electricity network operations. Experience in the energy sector is an advantage, as is knowledge of occupational health and safety and electrical safety regulations. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing. Knowledge of electrical installations and regional network operations is an advantage, but not a requirement. For us, your willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to the whole is just as important.
What is it like to work with us? Your manager Maria is present, clear, and sets high ambitions - both for herself and for the team, valuing trust, open dialogue, and shared responsibility. Here, we help each other when needed, share knowledge, and learn from one another, with the conviction that we become better together. The management team is characterized by an open climate, engagement, and great care for one another. We work closely together despite geographical dispersion, have an open and unpretentious culture, and encourage individual initiatives. There is a strong desire to develop, ask for and give feedback, and to continuously improve our working methods, while having fun along the way.
At E.ON, we actively work with inclusion - it is crucial for driving the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a safe working environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We are constantly challenging ourselves to create a welcoming workplace, where we hope you will thrive.
We work for a more sustainable energy society, but it is equally important that our employees have the conditions to care for their personal sustainability. Therefore, we offer good benefits to ensure you feel good and have a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these include a shorter working time that is higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more!
Warm welcome to apply and join us on the path to a sustainable society! The application deadline is February 18.
As we work with socially critical operations, the employment is security classified, which means that a security review will be conducted before employment.
